Terms of Service

Last updated: July 29, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Credara platform, operated by Credara, Inc. ("Credara," "we," "us"). By creating an account, connecting a third-party platform, or otherwise using Credara, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Credara.

2. The Service

Credara analyzes income, cash-flow, and payment-behavior data to produce the Credara Score, an alternative credit score used by participating credit unions and lenders during underwriting. Credara does not itself make lending decisions — lenders decide independently whether and how to use the Credara Score.

3. Your Account

4. Connecting Third-Party Platforms

You may choose to connect third-party accounts (for example, YouTube) so Credara can read income-related data you authorize via that platform's own consent screen. By connecting an account, you represent that you are the authorized owner of that account and that you consent to Credara accessing the specific data covered by the permissions you grant. You may revoke access at any time through the third-party platform's own account settings or by contacting us.

5. Score Disclaimer

The Credara Score is generated from the data available to us at the time of calculation and is provided for informational and underwriting-support purposes. It is not a guarantee of credit approval, loan terms, or creditworthiness, and Credara is not responsible for lending decisions made by third parties who use the score.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

7. Intellectual Property

Credara and its scoring methodology, software, and branding are the property of Credara, Inc. or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond what is necessary to use the platform as intended.

8. Disclaimers

Credara is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Credara will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform, including decisions made by third parties based on your Credara Score.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Credara if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. You may stop using Credara and request account deletion at any time.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Credara after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
